With so many supplements and wellness tools on the market, we wanted to help simplify your routine and share the ones we believe help us feel our best. Supplements are a great daily practice if accompanied by a good diet and lifestyle, and can benefit you in many ways. None of these will completely fix any problem and are not pharmaceuticals, but we have found that they help us feel our best!

Trace Power Pak

First thing in the morning, we both fill a large cup with water and add a PowerPak. It has the perfect mix of Vitamin B and C, electrolytes, zinc, and minerals. We have found that it is the easiest way to help keep our immune systems strong and get in essential vitamins first thing in the morning. It comes in 17 different flavors, so there is something for everyone! Our favorites are the lemon-berry, tangerine, and lemon-lime.

Ancient Nutrition SBO Probiotic

Probiotics are essential for having a healthy gut. Your gut regulates your immune system and is comprised of billions of bacteria, and probiotics help to populate your gut with good bacteria, leading to a stronger immune system and overall balance within your body. Avery has dealt with gut problems for a while now and has found that the Ancient Nutrition probiotics work the best. They sell a few different kinds, but Avery likes the Women's SBO Probiotic because it provides essential nutrients for women. She has also tried the gut restore one and loves it as well.

DAO and Digestive Enzymes

Enzymes are catalysts that help our bodies break down food and speed up the chemical reactions so that our bodies can process the food we eat better. We both tend to get bloated and have stomach discomfort after certain meals, and have found that incorporating a digestive enzyme helps our bodies to break down the food, and we have also felt less discomfort. We love the DigestMate enzyme, as it has many different enzymes that cover most of the bases when it comes to food. Avery has found that after certain foods with high histamines, such as leftovers, fermented food, and alcohol, she has a small reaction. She has found that incorporating a DAO enzyme helps to break down the histamines and reduce the reaction. DAO also helps with gastrointestinal pain.

Quicksilver Scientific Immune Charge Shots

When we are feeling under the weather or a little run-down, we have found that these Immune Charge shots, packed with vitamins and elderberry, help quickly boost our immune systems and make us feel better. They can be taken daily when feeling run down, or twice a day when we are sick for a more intensive boost. The small bottles are easy to throw into your purse on the go, and are a must for us when traveling.

L-Theanine

Being busy college students with so much going on, we have found that L-Theanine is an easy step to add to our morning routine to help reduce stress and calm our nervous systems. Stress is the root cause of so many problems in our bodies, and being able to regulate it and calm the nervous system is an easy way to reduce anxiety and problems stemming from a fast-paced lifestyle. It also helps to enhance brain function and focus. This perfect mix helps to start your day on a calm note and subtly helps daily stress not build up while keeping focus to get stuff done. L-Theanine comes in different forms; we like the liquid one, but it's just based on personal preference.

Beekeepers Natural Propolis Spray

Propolis is a substance made by honeybees to protect and repair their hive. It has been found that it has numerous antibacterial and antiviral properties, vitamins, and minerals. We love to keep this on hand when we start to feel run-down, have an itchy throat, or are losing our voices, and have found that it works wonders.

Castor Oil

Castor Oil is something that we have more recently implemented into our routines, but have already seen great progress. When applied just below your ribs over your liver, it has been found to detoxify and help with circulation and lymphatic drainage. We have found that when we apply it we wake up feeling less bloated and energized. Castor oil comes in many forms and can be applied using a castor oil pack, but we have found that using a salve is easier and not as messy.

Chlorophyll

Another thing that is a non-negotiable in our daily routines is chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the pigment that gives plants their color and is essential for photosynthesis. In humans, it serves as an internal deodorant, an anti-inflammatory, and boosts red blood cells. At some point throughout the day, we like to put a teaspoon in our water, and you can immediately feel it cleansing and energizing your body.

Magnesium

Magnesium is an essential mineral for humans, although most people are deficient in it. Magnesium helps to improve energy, bone health, neurological function, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal function. It helps to calm your mind, so Avery likes to take the powder form at night mixed into bedtime tea, and Bliss likes to take the capsule version. They also make gummies, which we love.

Aloe Vera Juice

Another more recent addition to both of our routines is aloe vera juice in the morning. We like to mix about a tablespoon with our Power Pak in a big glass of water and drink it first thing in the morning. We both have dealt with gut issues and have found that aloe vera juice helps to strengthen the lining of the gut, helping with digestion. It is also a great source of vitamins A and C and other antioxidants.

Omega 3

Omegas are essential for heart health, brain health, eye health, inflammation, and your skin. Incorporating an Omega-3 into your routine is an easy step to help avoid problems down the road. We like to take them in the morning with food and our probiotics.

Once again, we are not doctors, and none of these products will cure any problem, but we keep all of them on hand, and have found that they enhance our lives and make us feel as best as possible. It is important to do your own research and see what works for you, but these are our favorites and a good place to get started!

XOXO,

Avery and Bliss
