Our Everyday Makeup Routine

When it comes to makeup, we have tried just about everything. We tend to like a more natural makeup look, and these are the products we swear by. They are great for everyday or more of a special occasion. We have broken down both of our favorites and why we love them. Click the images to shop!

Base/foundation

We love the Saie slip tint for everyday light coverage and it has SPF! The Merit stick is great for more coverage but still feels light and looks natural.

Concealer

We have both used this concealer since high school, and it has never failed us! We have tried many concealers, but always come back to this one; it is by far the best we've found.

Bronzer/contour

We love cream contour and these are our favorites! Avery loves the Merit contour stick, and Bliss has used the Westman Atelier stick for years. They provide a natural contour, staying on throughout the night. We layer the Bobbi Brown powder bronzer to enhance the look and the Saie buffing brush is amazing for multipurpose blending.

Blush

These are our favorite blushes that can be worn daily to add a natural flush but are also buildable. Bliss loves the Westman Atelier blush in the shade Petal, and Avery loves the Rhode blush in the shade Tan Line.

Highlight

The Westman Atelier stick gives you the perfect everyday glow without looking like glitter on your face. The Fenty highlighter is another amazing option if you prefer powder and is great for a more elevated makeup look.

Brows

Eyebrow gel is one of the easiest ways to feel put together with minimal effort. These are our go-to brow products. The Benefit brow pencil is precise and great for filling in the brows, and the Refy brow gel and Anastasia brow freeze hold them in place all day.

Eyes

Whether getting dressed up for a night out or just going to class, mascara brings the whole look together. Avery has been using the Glossier Lash Slick for years and Bliss uses the L'Oreal Panorama Mascara. We both love the Laura Mercier eye shadow stick (shade dark cacao) to make our eyes pop.

Powder/setting

We use the O/S pink setting powder and it helps our makeup stay on all day without looking too matte or cakey. Bliss loves the Fenty Beauty Pressed Powder and brings it on nights out for a quick retouch. We always finish with the Urban Decay setting spray to keep everything in place.

Lips

We love our lip products, but always forget to reapply throughout the night. The Wonderskin lip stain eliminates this problem. You apply it while doing your makeup, let it sit for 5 minutes, wipe it off, and are left with perfectly tinted lips that last. Then we apply the Rhode lip liner (shade Lean) followed by a clear or tinted lip product and are good to go all night.
