We are both huge fans of journaling! Journaling is an important and useful way to sort out your feelings, emotions and thoughts. It feels so good to sit down and write without stopping. Journaling is a good way to reflect about whatever is on your mind. It should never feel like a task. It is proven to improve your mood and overall mental health. The practice of regular journaling helps you assess your current problems and concerns about the future, which in turn, helps you better cope with whatever life throws your way. It helps clear your head and de-stress, which has been linked to improved performance in school and better sleep.

Here are some journal prompts to help get you started:

- What are you grateful for?

- Write a list of 5 things you love about yourself, and why they make you unique.

- What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

- Reflect on your day. Write all the good things that happened and what could have made it better.

- Describe something GOOD that happened to you today.

- Write a letter to someone who has done you wrong. Discuss what they did and how it made you feel, and then forgive them and let it go.

- Describe your perfect day.

- Describe how you feel at this exact moment.

- Create a bucket list of things you’d like to accomplish or experience in the next 12 months.

- What memories do you think about most often and why?
